This Is Me No Matter What

Alcoholism, substance use, and untreated mental health conditions consumed most of my life. The first 15 years was where I collected my core values and beliefs, but it was the next 27 years that would challenge and distort almost every one of them. Numerous toxic relationships, not dealing with grief and loss, a sex/drugs/alcohol-fueled downward spiral, and severe mental health issues became a recipe for disaster. On February 9th, 2024, those demons culminated when they found me dead in my car from a Fentanyl overdose. Luckily, I was brought back and placed in a treatment facility that completely changed my life for the better.
