The precision threading die should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand, without excessive force. If it doesn't, the thread doesn't meet the required standards (i.e., it's defective). All workpieces and gauges are referenced at 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price available on inquiry). Calibration is performed in an independent lab following established standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC thread scanners.
