The Baby Bertha stands just 13 inches making it an ideal Intermediate building experience. High performance and easy to build is this model rocket.  The Estes Baby Bertha requires assembly and can be built and finished in just an hour. You can paint it like the package or create your own Go Wild design! The kit features the distinctive looking laser cut wood fins, a blow molded nose cone and easy to apply self-stick decals. When powered with standard C engines, it can streak to 575 feet and is easily recovered with a colorful 12 inch preassembled parachute.  Complete your set of Berthas with the addition of this mini missile today!  WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD: Scissors, pencil, ruler, fine sandpaper, carpenter’s glue, hobby knife, masking tape, white 1/32 inch pin stripe tape or white paint pen, primer (white), paint (black, white) and clear coat (optional). The Estes Baby Bertha is a Skill Level 1 kit, which requires assembly and can be built and finished in just a few hours. When powered with standard C engines, it can streak to over 575' (175 m) and is easily recovered with the aid of a colorful 12" (30 cm) preassembled parachute. • SOARS UP TO 575 FT.: Our Baby Bertha delivers an unforgettable experience from assembly to recovery with a projected altitude of 575 ft. (175 m) using a C6-5 Estes rocket engine (sold separately). It is also compatible with A8-3, B4-4, and B6-4 rocket engines.
• READY TO ASSEMBLE: This intermediate model kit requires about 2 hours of assembly time, offering a rewarding build-and-launch project for young learners. Then pair it with an Estes Porta-Pad II Pad and Electron Beam Controller (sold separately) for liftoff.
• SAFETY FIRST, FUN ALWAYS: Our rockets and rocket launch accessories are designed to be used with the NAR (National Association of Rocketry) model-rocket safety code.
